Our Guide to Bras for Maternity & Nursing

When you are pregnant, changes in your hormones cause lots of changes to your body and your boobs will grow, sometimes very rapidly! This can feel a little alarming - especially when you already have more up top to start with! But don’t worry, this is totally normal and we are here to help.

What's the difference between regular, maternity, and nursing bras?

There are several differences between regular, maternity, and nursing bras. Nursing bras are designed to provide easy access for breastfeeding and they tend to have drop-down cups with clips or magnets or a cross-over front, so you can feed your baby easily. Maternity bras tend to be non-wired and often have more rows of hooks than a regular bra, so they can adapt with you as you change shape. Some women feel most comfortable in their regular bra rather than a maternity or nursing bra and that is fine too! Whether you choose to wear a regular bra, a maternity bra or a nursing bra, it’s important to make sure that it fits well and it’s comfortable.
