Nearly perfect

I generally prefer non-wired swimsuits as I had yet to find a really comfortable underwired one for distance swimming- until now. As usual for me with swimwear, to accommodate my big hips I went up a back size and down a cup size and the fit is perfect. It looks great, with the side stripes being very flattering to a curvy figure. The clasp is fiddly but smooth and comfortable once done up (so important in a swimsuit). I swam 2K in it for the first time today and it didn't rub at all. The material feels very good quality, and the fact that it has to be hand washed because of the wires probably means it will last longer. The only downside for me is that the sliders on the adjustable straps make it unsuitable for wearing under my wetsuit.

Lovely swimsuit

I’m very pleased with this swimsuit. It’s a lovely fit and very supportive, the material is nice and light and I had no problems doing up the clasp at the back. It will give me lots of confidence at the beach!

At Last!

Review published on:

Customer rating:5 out of 5 stars

I took this swimsuit for its first trip to the pool today and I was really pleased. I have narrow hips, which has always made it difficult to buy one-piece costumes as they are either impossible to get on at the top or gape massively at the bottom. This rises higher over my hips than it does on the model in the picture, but it stretches well and moulds to my shape which meant I felt secure but not restricted. I've finally found a sports style that fits! Adjustable straps are also a bonus. I can't comment on its durability as yet, but first impressions are good. Style-wise, it's definitely one for a lane swim rather than a sun lounger, but I wanted to feel sporty and streamlined in the water, and it did that job brilliantly.

Impossible Clasp

Review published on:

Customer rating:3 out of 5 stars

There’s a lot to like with this swim suit. It fits me well and is very supportive, comfortable and looks good. I like the adaptable shoulder straps. However - the clasp of the built in bra is pretty much a deal breaker. It’s plastic and is not adjustable. It has been *impossible* for me to close it when I have the suit on. I have practised with it several times before trying on the suit. There is plenty of room in the band to manoeuvre when I’m wearing it. I am over 60 and have tons of experience with all kinds of bras, yet I cannot get the clasp to work when wearing the suit. I’m going to give it one more try but I just don’t see me wanting to spend 15 minutes hooking my bathing suit every time I want to go for a swim. So sorry!
